Innovest AS is a "not for profit" shareholding company, equally owned by the Helse Bergen HF and Unifob (University of Bergen). Innovest was established in 1997, and organised as a shareholding company in 2001.

Main areas are:
- Research accounts are offered to researchers
- Financial administration/contract negotiation of clinical studies
- Monitoring of investigator-initiated clinical trials and advice/GCP consultancy through the GCP-unit
- Research programmes management·and accounting support
- Arranging conferences and coursesrelated to clinical studies (ICH/GCP, lab etc. ) and for the last·six years we have been in charge of organising the conference; Nordic University Hospital Research conference - NRC
